Lambeth On Broadway

The Lambeth House Foundation’s “On Broadway” fall gala brought record-breaking numbers to the table on October 13. Co-chaired by Kathryn Favrot Smallpage, Janet Favrot, Michele Favrot Murphy, Amy Favrot Bell, Julie Favrot Vickers and Lynn Favrot Nolan, all daughters of the late New Orleans preservationist, Tom Favrot, the gala brought 210 guests together in support of Lambeth and raised a grand total of $75,000.

The Dark Water Jazz Band entertained guests on the patio, while Philip Melancon entertained those in the parlor with a cabaret performance. Tables adorned with pumpkin and sunflower centerpieces were covered in platters of exquisitely prepared hors d’oeuvres comprised of smoked salmon, pate and deviled eggs with caviar preceded a scrumptious buffet of filet mignon, baked ham, jumbo lump crab cakes and chicken St. Charles prepared
by chef John Joffe.

Open since 1998, Lambeth House’s mission is to “provide a community for older adults with programs, services and a positive lifestyle to assure the highest level of physical, intellectual, spiritual, emotional and social well-being.” Proceeds earned will benefit the Lambeth House Fellowship Fund.
