Land, Air and Sea

Most people are familiar with the traditional ways couple’s employ to get to their wedding and also those classic “getaway” options, such as a horse and carriage or elegant vintage car. But some couple’s want to add a little extra whimsy, fun, romance or adventure. In the new Summer/Autumn 2015 issue of New Orleans Bride Magazine, correspondent Phil McCausland put his journalist skills to work uncovering the most fun, whimsical and over-the-top transportation options in New Orleans. From gondolas and hot air balloons to yachts and helicopters, plus pedicabs and — of course — the classic horse and carriage, there’s something for every couple. For the June installment of my monthly WWLTV New Orleans Bride Magazine segment, Sally Ann Roberts and I chatted about a few fun options. View the segment below, then click here to read McCausland’s story.
