METAIRIE, La – To stem the spread of COVID-19 and serve those staying home, LaPharmacy is offering free medication home delivery to residents in the Greater New Orleans Area, including Jefferson Parish, Kenner, and the West Bank.
The Louisiana Department of Health is advising people to “stay home except to get medical care,” and LaPharmacy is helping by offering free delivery of prescription and over-the-counter medications orders of over $35 as well as curbside service at its store at 839 S. Clearview Parkway in Jefferson. LaPharmacy accepts all major insurances.
“To help prevent spreading this virus, it’s imperative to practice social distancing,” said Stacey Paul LaBorde, Doctor of Pharmacy and owner of LaPharmacy. “So instead of asking people to go out in public to collect their medications, we are extending our free home delivery service to people in the metro area, prioritizing service to seniors and other at-risk patients.”
LaPharmacy delivery staff are following safety and sanitization protocols help prevent the spread of the virus.
