Le Chat Noir, which opened in 1999 in a renovated 1930’s nightclub space, is an intimate 125-seat theater nestled in the arts district of downtown New Orleans. It is the premiere venue for cabaret-type performance, equally suited to the finest local performers and national cabaret stars. … and the ball and all  | June 7-22, Fri.-Sat. at 8 p.m., Sun. at 6 p.m. Created by Ricky Graham, this show has enjoyed long runs on various local stages since 1995. Starring many of the original cast, including Becky Allen, Yvette Hargis, Amanda Hargis and Mandi Zirkenbach.  Not only are their costumes and wigs fabulous, the props include green bean casserole.

sadie returns | June 27-July 6, Fri.-Sat. at 8 p.m., Sun. at 6 p.m. Sadie Shepherd (aka Brian Peterson) returns with a revamped cabaret show. Her 2007 debut at Le Chat Noir launched this wonderful, funny character. Now she returns with musical director and accompanist Anthony Sears. Two weekends only.
