Cassie Worley is the executive director of Le Petit Théâtre du Vieux Carré. Le Petit is one of the oldest community theaters in the country and it holds a special place in the hearts of New Orleanians. As with many community theaters, Le Petit has been financially strapped for some time. However, thanks to a good business plan and restauranteur Dickie Brennan's new on-site restaurant, Tableau, this beloved New Orleans theater is now in fine shape. In this podcast, Worley tells us a little about the origins of Le Petit and explains the differences between community theater and non-community theater. She highlights some of New Orleans' local theatrical talent and gives us a glimpse into the upcoming 2013-2014 season.
