Let’s Grab a Drink, NOLA

Whether in good times or bad, we love to hear the sound of ice hitting the cocktail tin and the music of champagne corks popping. As we begin to get out and about, we’re seeing more outdoor venues pop up around the city. These outdoor, COVID-safe environments are also offering happy hour specials, which helps everyone feel a little safer about heading out to imbibe.

We found a few happy hour deals for you to check out soon.

The Country Club (634 Louisa St.) has outdoor seating poolside and a happy hour that runs 4-7 p.m. Thursday-Mondays. Right now you can get $3 well drinks, $5 house margaritas, $5 Tito’s, $5 draft beer and $5 house wine that includes Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Cabernet.

Lula Restaurant Distillery (1532 St. Charles Ave.) has great outdoor seating and a great view along the historic St. Charles Avenue. Happy Hour here is from 4-7 p.m. Where spirits and cocktails come together, this unique privately owned micro-distillery and restaurant is quintessentially southern through and through. There is a great selection of house made vodka, gin and beer, with a good selection of beer and wine. Stop by with friends for a good time in a great location.

Royal Frenchman Bar (700 Frenchman St.) is in a quaint atmosphere along the famous Frenchman Street. Happy Hour is from 3-8 p.m. daily and features $5 lemon drops, martinis, cosmos, manhattans. The patio is a great spot to enjoy music, great April weather and good company.

These of course are just a few fun happy hours around town. If you have a favorite spot that just opened, let us know so we can share it with cocktail lovers everywhere.

Cheers!
