NEW ORLEANS (press release) – David Treadway is a New Orleans-based multimedia artist, songwriter, musician, director, and producer. During the pandemic, he decided to wrap up his own debut album entitled “I’m Really Strange,” which was twenty-five years in the making. The album is a genre of its own with influences of pop, rock, funk, jazz, and reminiscent of the ’80s, ’90s, and ’00s.
The album includes 14 songs; blogger Jon Tyler of NevilleTracks said of the record, “Hard to choose a favorite track. It’s consistently excellent!” The lead single “Forget About Me,” as well as “Waiting My Turn,” are already receiving radio airplay in New York and Montana.
