Recently, a couple of local restaurants gave the scoop about how they’re celebrating the summer item.

Over at Flour Moon Bagels, the fan-favorite Fortuna tartine has returned for the season. Available for pre-order or in-shop, the tartine features heirloom tomatoes from Faust Farms layered with tonnato, olive oil, and fresh herbs. Pair it with one of Flour Moon’s frozen cocktails for the ultimate New Orleans summer snack.
Meanwhile, Junebug has welcomed Creole tomatoes to the menu with a lineup of seasonal dishes, including a Creole tomato salad with ramp caramel, green plum, and pickled shallot.
