NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Louisiana Children’s Museum is currently hosting Mosaic of Marks, Words and Material, a hands-on exhibit inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education. Sponsored by Agenda for Children, the free exhibit invites families, caregivers and educators to explore how children express their thinking and imagination through drawing, materials and mark-making.
The museum team shares that this interactive exhibition-atelier is visually rich, deeply engaging, and highlights how child-led learning helps make children’s thinking visible. It’s also leading up to the North American Reggio Emilia Alliance Winter Conference, which will take place in New Orleans in March 2026.
