Louisiana Landmarks Society: New Orleans Nine most endangered sites

Stephen Chauvin is Chair of the New Orleans Nine. Every year since 2005, the Louisiana Landmarks Society has compiled a list of nine sites around the city that are threatened by demolition, neglect, or bureaucracy. Modeled after the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Most Endangered program, the New Orleans Nine list seeks to call attention to important historic sites that are endangered. The purpose is to highlight the value of these sites, advocate for historic preservation, and educate the public about the significance of these sites as unique parts of the rich cultural fabric of New Orleans. What you can do to preserve these endangered sites: visit ihttp://www.louisianalandmarks.org for additional information.
