NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO), the region’s premier and Grammy-nominated orchestra, kicks off a festive holiday concert series with HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR on Saturday, Dec. 2, at the Orpheum Theater. Under the baton of LPO Music Director Matthew Kraemer, LPO musicians share the holiday spirit with musical favorites including selections from holiday film classic “Home Alone,” “Carol of the Bells,” “O Holy Night,” “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” and many more. Featured guest artists are local talents soprano Jessica Mixon, also known as J.Mix, and tenor Mark-Anthony Thomas.This concert welcomes audiences of all ages.
