BATON ROUGE, La (press release) – LWCC, Louisiana workers’ compensation carrier, announced the results of its 2025 Holiday Giving Program, an annual initiative created to help strengthen communities and support impactful nonprofits across the state. The program awards a $20,000 shared cash donation to three Louisiana-based nonprofits, nominated by LWCC’s agent partners and voted on by the public.
The 2025 Holiday Giving Program achieved record-breaking participation and engagement. LWCC received more than 60 unique nominations from its agent partners, the highest number in the program’s history. From those nominations, three finalists were selected:
- Child Advocacy Services, providing advocacy, resources and support to children and families affected by abuse and neglect
- St. Vincent de Paul – Baton Rouge, supporting individuals and families in need through essential services, housing assistance and community outreach
- Team Fleur de Que, providing community support, fundraising and hands-on support to local families facing pediatric brain cancer
To engage the broader community, LWCC opened public voting to determine the allocation of funds among the three finalists. This year’s program generated over 11,000 votes, reflecting strong community enthusiasm and widespread support for the finalists.
“The Holiday Giving Program continues to show us the good that exists across Louisiana. And this year’s response was truly inspiring,” said Seth Irby, LWCC SVP and Chief Strategy Officer. “The record number of nominations and votes tells us that our agent partners and the public believe deeply in these organizations and the impact they are making in their communities. It reinforces why this program matters and why LWCC is proud to help amplify their work.”
In addition to the donation of $15,400 to Team Fleur de Que, the program’s final distribution also includes $2,600 to St. Vincent de Paul – Baton Rouge and $2,000 to Child Advocacy Services. Award distribution is based on public voting.
LWCC extends sincere thanks to its agent partners and everyone who participated in this year’s program. Through collective participation and shared purpose, the Holiday Giving Program continues to reflect LWCC’s commitment to helping Louisiana thrive.
