Lyft Announces Official Sponsorship Of Hogs For The Cause
As transportation partner, Lyft pledges to donate a portion of profits from discounted rides
NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Lyft, whose mission is to improve people’s lives with the world’s best transportation, is pleased to announce its partnership with the Hogs for the Cause Music and Barbeque Festival, serving as the event’s exclusive transportation partner during festival weekend, March 29 – 30.
Festival attendees who use promo code “HOGSFORTHECAUSE19” will receive $1 off their first ride to the event. Lyft will also donate $1 to the cause for each ride taken to UNO Lakefront Arena during the event.

Along with in-venue signage and event marketing, the partnership creates additional transportation options for festival-goers arriving at and departing from the UNO Lakefront Arena. To facilitate flow to the arena for festival goers, Lyft will have a designated pick-up and drop-off area.
