NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Mahmoud Chouki has performed at MOH a number of times, alongside such collaborators as Oscar Rossignoli, Martin Masakowski, & David Torkanowsky, to name a few. In 2021, he was commissioned to compose and perform the “Oud Concerto for New Orleans” to reopen the hall following the COVID lockdown. Now, guitar / oud player Mahmoud Chouki returns for a thrilling set with Cuban pianist Víctor Campbell.
