Make Your Reservation at Cochon and Pêche

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – After two long months, I am pleased to announce that we will be reopening Cochon and Pêche on Wednesday, May 20, with Herbsaint and Gianna to follow a couple of weeks later. La Boulangerie and Butcher are currently open for take-out and will open for limited indoor and outdoor seating this Saturday. We are thrilled to be bringing back team members and getting their jobs and their lives back on line.

We are staggering our reopenings to ensure we provide the best and safest experience for our guests and our team members. Our safety protocols on sanitation adhere to or exceed the recommendations of the Louisiana Department of Health and the CDC. If you’d like to see how we are keeping our guests and team members safe, please click here. COVID-19 is, unfortunately, not our first time to face disaster. After Katrina, the outlook for New Orleans was bleak at best. If anything good came from Katrina, it was how the New Orleans community supported each other while literally starting over from scratch. I saw first-hand how everything I purchase touches someone else’s life and then another’s. I know as a community, we will see this again.

Here’s how our openings will work…

We will be taking reservations for limited seating until we enter phase 2. We will be seating a maximum of about 40 people at a time with tables spread out based on social distancing guidelines. Our reservations will rotate on the half-hour from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. To start, we will be open Wednesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner. This reservation strategy should allow ample dining time while also preventing overflow and back up. Being on time for your reservation will help us keep you safe and keep operations running smoothly.

I want to thank all of you for supporting us during this exceedingly difficult time. Please continue to do so during our re-opening; we need you more than ever! Finally, I want to share how proud I am of our team…the 65 team members that have worked through this shutdown by doing any job asked of them, while also providing 3,500 meals a week to help feed our community. I cannot thank them enough.

We look forward to seeing our past team members back among our ranks and to seeing all of you in the restaurant relaxing, enjoying great food, wine, and service just the way it used to be.

Except for the masks, of course.

Sincerely,
