New Orleans Medical Mission Services (NOMMS) hosted their annual fundraising gala, Mission Possible, on June 24. The event was held at Generations Hall in New Orleans and benefitted NOMMS, a nonprofit organization that donates medical services, equipment, supplies and instruments, as well as educational programs, to qualified organizations in foreign countries. NOMMS was created in 2001 by a local group of physicians and businessmen who shared this common vision. NOMMS efforts are powered by volunteers that include doctors, nurses and other medical professionals, as well as non-medical professionals.
