NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Welcome to Mardi Gras at Barcadia New Orleans! Barcadia is excited to unveil a special Mardi Gras-themed transformation of the restaurant & bar, an innovative Mardi Gras drink menu, and the best spot on Tchoupitoulas to watch all of the parades!
Barcadia, located at 601 Tchoupitoulas St., has partnered up with local innovator Carl Mack of Carl Mack Presents to provide guests with a one-of-a-kind Mardi Gras experience from now until after Fat Tuesday on Feb. 25.
The restaurant & bar has been transformed into a Mardi Gras wonderland with decorations created by Carl Mack that capture the spirit of parade throws raining down from Carnival floats… the very same floats that will go by right in front of Barcadia.
In addition to festive decor, choose from 9 different Mardi Gras-fused drinks that will please all cocktail enthusiasts. Inspired by classic New Orleans cocktails, get a flavor for Mardi Gras with the Mardi Gras Mule, Spicy Orpheus, Old Fashioned Endymion, and much more.
All ages are welcome in Barcadia to join in the Holiday fun, with kids under 21 being allowed until 9pm. We have two walls filled with arcade games for children of all ages (even the big ones, too) to enjoy, as well as vintage board games, themed attire for the staff, and picture opportunities throughout the restaurant.
