NEW ORLEANS (press release) – At the Community Class, meet the resident company members to learn about their unique, one-of-a-kind work as a contemporary ballet company in New Orleans, and then experience the practice yourself!
After cultivating a dance community and creating original works over the last decade, the Marigny Opera House & Marigny Opera Ballet are thrilled to open their doors for Intermediate Contemporary Ballet Community Class!
++Class will be held on Thursdays 10-11:30 a.m. starting Sept. 7 at the Marigny Opera House.
Here are a few important details to read before attending class:
* Community Class is donation-based: no one turned away for lack of funds, no pressure!
* Cash, card, check, & Zelle accepted.
* The doors will open 20 minutes prior to the start of class to reserve your spot.
* We promptly lock the doors once class has started, so please plan accordingly.
* Dance attire is recommended (ie, clothes for movement, dance footwear) but not required.
* Come with an open mind!
