Whitney Zoo-to-Do

If you’re looking for something fancy during the last weekend of Jazz Fest, don your best cocktail attire and head to Audubon Zoo for the Whitney Zoo-to-Do on May 5. Live music will be provided by Walter “Wolfman” Washington and the Roadmasters, among other artists. Food and drinks will be served by over 70 local restaurants and over 30 cocktail bars. New Orleans Greek Festival 2017

Opa! It’s that time of year again for the New Orleans Greek Festival. From May 26-28, come to the Hellenic Cultural Center to enjoy authentic Greek food, music, and dance (there will also be hot dogs if you have any children who are picky eaters). Shorty Fest

On May 4th, music aficionados can enjoy Shorty Fest, a benefit concert for the Trombone Shorty Foundation, which helps pass on New Orleans’ musical and cultural heritage on to its youth. The event, held at the House of Blues, has developed a reputation as a showcase for up-and-coming artists. Tickets range in price from $80 general admission to $250 VIP tickets. Information,
