NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Wednesday, Aug. 14, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Meauxbar will be continuing the Summer Dinner series with a special Julia Child tribute dinner in celebration of her upcoming birthday. Guests will enjoy a delicious three course meal featuring the famous delicacies of Julia herself.
Located on the border between the historic French Quarter and Treme neighborhoods, Meauxbar fashions itself as a true neighborhood spot. A typical evening finds an eclectic mix of French Quarter residents, locals from across the city, and out of town visitors. Meauxbar is a space created to bring people together to foster memorable experiences through fun, warm, and engaging hospitality.
The three course menu will feature the following items:

Bread service, Gougère, Bellegarde bread, butter, radishes
Course One
Salmon mousse, deviled eggs, crudités, pickles
Course Two
Poulet Bonne Femme Roast
Chicken, Onion, Bacon, Mushroom Cream Sauce, Potato, Soubise
Course Three
Ile Flottante meringue, creme anglaise, caramel
