A Board-Certified Mohs Micrographic Surgeon and a Board-Certified Dermatologist by the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Brianna McDaniel has expert experience in Mohs Micrographic surgery, cosmetic dermatology, and general dermatology. Mohs micrographic surgery, a specialized and highly effective technique for the removal of skin cancer, differs from other skin cancer treatments in that it permits the immediate and complete microscopic examination of the removed cancerous tissue at the time of the surgery, and has been recognized as the skin cancer treatment with the highest reported cure rate. Dr. McDaniel has the distinction of being among the first of fellow Mohs surgeons to achieve board certification in the Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery Subspecialty and performs well over 1,000 Mohs surgery cases annually.
