Arwen Podesta, MD, is a psychiatrist with sub-specialization in addiction medicine, holistic and integrative medicine, and forensic psychiatry. She is a nationally known speaker and teacher. Dr. Podesta frequently works in a Forensic Psychiatry capacity, consulting with judges and specialty courts, and also as an expert witness. She is past president of the Louisiana Chapter of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and incoming president of the Louisiana Psychiatric Medical Association (LPMA). She is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and of ASAM.
