The Garden District Book Shop invites guests to step into the vibrant world of New Orleans with “Bébés, Beauty & Bees,” a captivating blend of family recipes, beauty secrets, and heartfelt stories from Bravender’s colorful life.
In this enchanting cookbook, Bravender invites you on a journey through her experiences, from her upbringing in Harvey, Louisiana, to her bustling career as a local hairstylist and makeup artist. With each turn of the page, she shares cherished family recipes passed down through generations, infusing the flavors of New Orleans into every dish. The evening will kickoff at 5 p.m. Bravender will be mingling around the shop and the Bar Epilogue will be serving up a cocktail inspired by her book. The event is free and open to the public but interested parties are encouraged to reserve their books ahead of time on Eventbrite.
