"Love what you do and you'll never work a day in your life!" My name is Merideth Reed and I am a local New Orleans Wedding Professional. After three years of owning my wedding planning business Belle Soirée, I decided it was time to branch out. After stumbling upon the "wedding planning library" concept, I knew this would be a perfect fit for not only myself but the city of New Orleans. Bliss! A Wedding Library opened Jan. 15, 2013. Bliss is a resource planning boutique designed for relaxation and optimal research for the New Orleans bride. We feature over 30 vendors (and still growing) in the major 15 planning categories. Brides can browse the aisles of our library style shelving filled with local vendor photography albums, live videographer feed, catering menus and samples, and even taste wedding cake all right here in the library! I am very excited and hopeful about this concept breaking through in New Orleans. Bliss is located at 622 S. Carrollton Ave., right off the St. Charles streetcar line! We are open Tuesday-Friday 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m.-3 p.m.! Visit blissweddinglibrary.com for more information.
