Meril’s to Host Taylor Swift-themed Drag Brunch

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Meril has extended its drag brunch offerings, hosted by Lexis Redd D’Ville and Ivy Dripp, into a series. Guests can enjoy a three-course brunch menu and live performances by local drag legends.

This Sunday, brunch will be Taylor Swift-themed.

1^st Course – “Bejeweled” Bread Basket

• Pretzels, Apple Fritters, Cream Cheese Danish; or
• Jalapeño Pepper Jelly, Sharp Cheddar Butter, Blackberry Jam

2^nd Course –

• Fried Chicken “Karma” Cobb Salad – Ham, Boiled Egg, Grape Tomato, Blue Cheese, Avocado, Creole Ranch Dressing; or
• Philly Cheese Steak “Fearless” Flatbread 

3^rd Course – 

• “Tim McGraw” Nashville Hot Chicken – Sliced Bread, Pickles, Slaw; or
• Loaded “Taylor” Tots – Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Green Onion, Jalapeno

Optional add-on: “Champagne Problems” Bottomless Champagne, Mimosas & Bloody Mary’s

Tickets are $68 (exclusive of tax and gratuity), with an optional add on of bottomless mimosas, bubbles, or Bloody Mary’s for $30.

Meril is currently open for dinner nightly starting at 5 p.m., lunch Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday brunch from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Reservations are encouraged.
