NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Starting Tuesday, Nov. 26, The Miracle Pop-Up will once again transform Barrel Proof Nola into a winter wonderland for its sixth year running. The whiskey bar will serve up specialty holiday cocktails through Tuesday, Dec. 31 (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day).
A few crowd favorites will return this year like the Christmapolitan with Vodka, elderflower, dry vermouth, spiced cranberry sauce, lime, rosemary, absinthe mist; and the Snowball Old-Fashioned with Rye whiskey, gingerbread, aromatic & wormwood bitters, orange essence.
They’ll be joined by some inventive, festive new creations as well, including:
Koala La La La: Blanco tequila, dry vermouth, apple liqueur, tamarind, lemon, eucalyptus bitters, mint, soda
Stocking Stuffer: Bourbon, Pedro Ximénez sherry, amaro, cinnamon syrup, iced “hot” chocolate, aromatic bitters, marshmallow
Crooked Antler: Brandy, ruby port, vanilla liqueur, hazelnut liqueur, chestnut orgeat, lapsang tea, acid-adjusted orange, aromatic bitters, nutmeg, peated whiskey spritz
Santa Slide: Whiskey liqueur, cream sherry, dark crème de cacao, dry orange curaçao, caramelized orange, cream, mole bitters, orange chocolate
Rudolph’s Replacement: Vodka, coffee liqueur, white crème de cacao, orange curaçao, chai syrup, almond milk, aromatic bitters
