NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Miss River, helmed by Chef Alon Shaya at Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans, announced its new fall programming, which features the return of favorites alongside exciting new offerings.
Wood-Fired Up
As the weather cools, Miss River’s outdoor patio is heating up with a new wood-fired oven and specials throughout the week. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, guests can try Neapolitan-style pizzas, including a classic Margherita, prosciutto, and a hot sausage and Honey pizza that marries Chef Alon’s love for Italian and Louisiana flavors. The signature Pizza Enzo, named for Chef Shaya’s pizza mentor Chef Enzo DeSantis, features mozzarella, anchovies, garlic, chili oil and a layer of mortadella. Thursdays through Saturdays will spotlight Creole-inspired wood-fired dishes including a Cochon de Lait, Garlic Butter Shrimp, and Crab-Boiled Smashed Potatoes.
Festive Fridays: Kicking Off Oct. 4
Miss River is bringing the energy this fall with the return of Festive Fridays, starting on Friday, Oct. 4. Expanding the popular brunch to Fridays, guests can now enjoy Miss River’s signature brunch offerings three days a week: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. This lively event transforms brunch into an experience, complete with live entertainment, indulgent daytime cocktails, and a chic social scene.
Brunch favorites include Buttermilk-Fried Chicken and Biscuits, Shrimp and Grits, Eggs Crème de la Crème with hollandaise and caviar, and the indulgent Pain Perdue. Festive Fridays invite guests to embrace the fun atmosphere—think fancy fascinators, sequins, and the perfect excuse to kick off the weekend early.
