For the past few months, we've been highlighting excerpts, from the New Orleans Bride Summer 2017 issue, on modern venue spaces around New Orleans. One may not think "modern" when they first think of the Big Easy, with it's charming southern atmosphere and loads of history scattered around, but cozied up among the historic landmarks and buildings dating back to the 1800s are luxurious modern locations. Renovated warehouses or re-purposed market places, there are many swanky locations for the modern couple to say "I Do."
We've previously highlighted venues like Il Mercato on Magazine Street, Eiffel Society on St. Charles Avenue, and The Cannery in Mid-City.
For our eighth location, we have an iconic New Orleans venue, Generations Hall.

Generations Hall
Originally a sugar mill, Generations Hall keeps close to it roots, which it does while simultaneously pulling off an ultra-modern look. With exposed brick, exposed beams and high ceilings, it’s not hard to imagine the original space. However, the chandeliers, sleek furniture and high tech, customizable lighting pushes Generations Hall into the 21st century. The space is vast and can hold up to 25,000 people between three rooms. This space is for couples who are looking for a wedding that is a bit out of the norm.
