Style, class and sophistication have all been used to describe fashion designer Monique Lhuillier. The Philippine-born, mother of two brings a refreshing charm to the fashion world. Known for her feminine and refined fashions, the designer has been dressing celebrity and brides alike for nearly 20 years. Brides the world over are lusting after Lhuillier’s recent Spring 2015 Ready-To-Wear collection, which was a popular pick for the most recent red carpet season.
The Spring 2015 Bridal collection is chocked full of Chantilly lace, tulle and ivory. The elegant sheath and mermaid designs adorned in lace and beaded embellishments add a romantic and flattering touch to any bridal look.
The collection can be seen March 19 to 21 at I Do Bridal Couture in Baton Rouge (by appointment only). With no local bridal retail stores offering Lhuillier’s designs – the closest being in Texas or Jackson, Mississippi – this is a fortunate opportunity for Louisiana brides.
For this week’s “Designer of the Week” we are bringing you a preview of some of the designs that will be featured during the I Do Bridal Couture trunk show.
