In August, two boutiques announced new store locations.
I Do Bridal Couture, located in Baton Rouge, will expand operations with a second location. The new I Do will open in Covington at the end of the year, promising twice the number of stores with twice the number of dresses.
I Do is currently the official Louisiana location for a number of couture designers such as Amsale and Monique Lhuillier.

The New Orleans location of Bliss Bridal announced the opening of a new, larger boutique. Currently located at 2126 Magazine St., the new store will be at 3624 Magazine St. and officially opens Monday, Sept. 9. According to the store’s social media sites, the newest incarnation of the boutique will offer a more intimate option for brides and include a few private bridal suites. Bliss Bridal New Orleans is the sister store to Bliss Bridal in Fairhope, Alabama, which along with the Hattiesburg location, will operate as usual through the New Orleans transition.
