NEW ORLEANS – This weekend, the 50th annual City and Regional Magazine Association (CRMA) conference descended on the city bringing publishers, editors, writers and more from all around the country to the Crescent City.
For three days, attendees got to share ideas, listen to industry leaders and be inspired by their colleagues, while highlighting the amazing work they’ve all done in their respective markets over the last year. Each CRMA conference ends with an awards banquet that shines a light on the best of the best in our industry.

Following a big win for CRMA Designer of the Year (as well as Feature Design) in 2021, New Orleans Magazine Creative Director Tiffani Reding Amedeo once again brought home a 1st place prize for her continued awe-inspiring work for our city magazine.
In the category of Spread Design (Circulation less than 33,000) the over 100 judges chose Amedeo’s visual representation of the annual “Best of” feature highlighting breakfast and brunch around the city. The judges called Amedeo’s work “simplicity at the core” while noting it being “gentle, bold and exciting.”
“Its a huge honor to be nominated alongside such talented designers and to actually win is pretty damn cool,” said Amedeo when asked about the honor.

Amedeo has been with Renaissance Publishing since the company’s inception following Hurricane Katrina. Throughout her time at Renaissance and across each of the magazines she designs, Amedeo has been recognized both locally and nationally for her talent and dedication to visual storytelling.
“When I think of breakfast, I think eggs so why not start it off with a little yolk,” said Amedeo. “My little yolk won a big award.”
