NEW ORLEANS (press release) – Red Bull announces that premiere one-on-one street dance competition, Dance Your Style will make its New Orleans debut on Saturday, Aug. 3 at Generations Hall.
Red Bull Dance Your Style is bringing dancers from New Orleans and across the South together for the ultimate freestyle battle. Sixteen competitors across hip‐hop, popping, jookin’, waacking, locking and more will take their talents to the dancefloor in front of a live audience at Generations Hall on August 3. The event will be hosted by New Orleans’ own, D.C. Paul, and dancers participating include Steven Ban-Dancing Bill Gates and Steven Kador.

Red Bull Dance Your Style is all about giving freedom to dancers. There’s no planned choreography, no pre‐chosen music or one dedicated style of dance. It’s all about embracing the moment and moving to the beat. Dancers participating in Red Bull Dance Your Style will have the dance floor as their canvas to thrill, surprise, and delight the audience by adapting their chosen style of movement to music ranging from recent global hits to old time classic beats, all spun by New Orleans native, DJ G‐CUE. The fans will be the judge as they determine the winner of each round and crown their regional champion.
