NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The National Association of University Women-New Orleans Branch is thrilled to announce that three endowments have been created at three HBCUs in the city of New Orleans. Under the leadership of the NAUW-New Orleans Branch President (2021-2025), Ms. KaTrina Chantelle Griffin, it was voted on that the NAUW-New Orleans Branch would establish endowments in the amount of $25K per university at Dillard University, Southern University at New Orleans and Xavier University of Louisiana. The NAUW-New Orleans Branch is laser-focused on providing opportunities and scholarships to women to be educated and continue to soar in every phase and walk of their life. The NAUW-New Orleans Branch Endowment Chair, Mrs. Geraldine Myers says, “The Charter Members of the New Orleans Branch would be elated to know that their earlier fundraising efforts will benefit students of these HBCUs”.
