NEW Hot Yoga Studio – FIRE FLOW – Opens in the Lower Garden District

NEW ORLEANS (press release) Fire Flow Studio opened Wednesday in the Lower Garden District, bringing a new style of hot yoga to the local fitness community.

Infrared heat compliments Vinyasa-style sequencing to reach deep tissue, which increases blood circulation, speeds up metabolic rate, relieves inflammation and alleviates sore muscles. Paired with energizing beats and dim lighting to induce high energy, expect to build, burn and breathe.

Owners Phil and Allison Hoffman and Caitlin Justice began building the concept during Summer 2019, and soon began a complete renovation of a warehouse off Magazine Street. Their shared passion for a sweaty, bold, unique vibe was quickly realized with buildout plans in place and local graffiti artist Kentrice Schexnayder on board.

Flows:

  • Fire60: Signature class – a Power Vinyasa sequence designed for all levels. Heated to approximately 95 degrees, paired with a fiery playlist for one hour of sweaty movement.
  • Private: Heat and sequencing tailored to your needs. Up to four participants.
  • Membership and pricing options can be found here

From one of Fire Flow’s first clients, Meg Baldwin: “I just wanted to thank y’all for such a great class! The studio is awesome and I felt amazing when I left … sweaty, stretched and happy!”

To book a class, download the mindbody app and visit the FireFlow page. To become a Member, sign up via mindbody here. Students will need to bring their own mat and mat towel (both required), as FireFlow will not offer rentals at this time. In addition, students can expect capped classes, temperature checks and face masks required in common areas.
