NEW ORLEANS (press release) – New Orleans-based food photographer Kat Kimball, in partnership with the local creative agency Ganza, announced the release of Jiggly Bits: The New Orleans Naked Chefs Calendar. The calendar, which features a playful and artistic take on the city’s culinary stars, is now available for discounted presale starting today, Sept. 16, at dirtycoast.com. The calendar will move to regular sale online and in store at all Dirty Coast locations in mid October.
Jiggly Bits showcases prominent chefs from the New Orleans dining scene, including Mason Hereford of Turkey & the Wolf, Molly’s Rise and Shine, Hungry Eyes and Hot Stuff; Nina Compton of Compere Lapin and Bywater American Bistro; Eric Cook of Gris-Gris and Saint John; Dan Stein of Steins Deli and many more. Every purchase of the calendar supports WeHelp NOLA, a nonprofit dedicated to offering free mental wellness services to service industry workers through affordable membership programs with participating restaurant owners.
“Jiggly Bits is a passion project that I’ve been dreaming about for nearly a decade,” said Kat Kimball. “With my background in the restaurant industry and my current work as a food photographer, I’ve always been closely connected to service industry professionals. Being able to bring this project to life and give back directly to my community will be the best thing I have done in my career thus far..”

WeHelp NOLA is the only organization in New Orleans working to build a partnership between the restaurant employer and the mental health care community in order to actively and vastly reshape our industry support and provide tangible solutions to improving the quality of life for all its constituents.
Drawing inspiration from Anthony Bourdain’s “Nasty Bits” and 1970’s cookbooks, Jiggly Bits presents a more playful look at our cherished chefs. By stripping away the traditional chef’s coat, the calendar highlights the personalities behind the culinary creators, celebrating their unique charm and contributions to New Orleans’ vibrant food culture – and all for a good cause.
