Jenny Hamilton is Executive Director for the New Orleans Ballet Association. The New Orleans Ballet Association was founded in 1969 to advance dance in New Orleans and the region through performance and education. In this podcast, Jenny talks about this season's schedule, including the exciting November 7 season opener. World-renown Creative Director, Daniel Ulbricht, and the Stars of American Ballet will inaugurate the 2014-2015 season. In addition to performances, education is the other major component of the New Orleans Ballet Association. Over the years, the organization has positively impacted young people throughout the region. According to Jenny: "5,500 tuition–free dance classes and activities are provided in a three–parish area for 2,000 students each year."
