New Orleans Carnival 2017 by Arthur Hardy

Arthur Hardy, a native New Orleanian, is one of the world's preeminent authorities on all aspects of New Orleans’ famous Mardi Gras celebration. In this podcast, he shares some behind-the-scenes stories about our Carnival krewes. These stories illustrate how these organizations contribute to the city year-round. For example, every year, members of the Thoth organization visit nursing homes throughout the city. Mardi Gras 2017 is the second year of Arthur’s Mardi Gras app; the convenient app contains essentially the same information as Arthur Hardy’s Mardi Gras Guide magazine, but for smartphones. Listen as Hardy gives us a peek into his famous magazine and describes the handy Mardi Gras app.
