New Orleans Film Society & Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra Present “Frankenstein in Concert”

NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The New Orleans Film Society (NOFS) announced it will partner with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra (LPO) to bring Frankenstein in Concert to life at Loyola University’s Roussel Hall. On Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m., audiences will experience the classic 1931 film “Frankenstein” on the big screen accompanied by a brand new haunting live score by composer Michael Shapiro, performed by the LPO under the baton of Music Director Matthew Kraemer.

The duo share this special public performance is presented by Bergeron Automotive.

NOFS is offering $5 tickets to anyone with a valid student ID. The Film Society organizers share they are passionate about ensuring young audiences experience art and live events as early as possible.
