NEW ORLEANS (press release) – The Big Easy Rollergirls (BERG) are defending their rankings at their Home Bout on Saturday, June 15 at the UNO Lakefront Arena.
The roller derby action starts at 5:00pm with the Big Easy Rollergirls Allstars vs. Nashville and continuing at 7:00 p.m. with the Big Easy Rollergirls Second Line vs. Capitol Defenders! Doors at 4:30 p.m.
This game will be a celebration of PRIDE! Come get your face paint/rainbow tattoo game on, enjoy the bar, concessions, score a limited edition pride t-shirt and high-five the derby skaters while chilling out in the air-conditioning with New Orleans’ favorite queer inclusive sports league. As always, this event is family friendly with kids’ zone and opportunities for autographs and other up close encounters with skaters. Experience the excitement of roller derby with general admission tickets available in advance for $10, $15 at the door, and $5 for children 12 to 7 years old. Children ages 6 and younger get in free.
