As I walked step-together-step down the aisle towards my future husband, I fantasized about what his first words to me would be. The confusing and pointed, “You are wearing so much makeup,” was not what I imagined. Although the words were brash, they actually brought levity to an intense moment and made me laugh. You see, he wasn’t trying to be mean, he was genuinely baffled by my ultra smooth, sparkly face. In everyday life, I hardly wear make-up at all.
Despite being a minimal makeup gal, I’m still amazed by how it can transform my look and confidence. Most days, a little truly goes a long way (weddings being the exception). Simple, dependable products we can rely on to enhance our natural features are the holy grail. But with so many products and brands out there, where do we even start? To help, I reached out to local vendors for their expert advice. They’ve shared their top-performing products – items that fly off the shelves because they deliver on their promises!
