Anne Rheams is the new executive director of the Lake Pontchartrain Basin Foundation. Many people may remember her predecessor, Carlton Dufrechou. Anne has been with the foundation for more than 19 years and was with the Department of Environmental Quality prior to joining the Foundation. Anne comments on whether the lake has been adversely affected by the British Petroleum oil spill and discusses what concerns she has for the future of the lake and the basin.She also talks about ecological damages in the Gulf of Mexico.
