Archbishop Hannan served as Archbishop of New Orleans from 1965 to 1989; at age 96, he is now the oldest living Archbishop in the world. I had the privilege to speak to the Archbishop at his residence on the Northshore and learned that this 96-year-old is as full of life as he ever was. A World War II veteran, the Archbishop compared the rebuilding of New Orleans to the rebuilding of European cities following WWII.
