Babs Mollere is managing director for the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, and she shares the orchestra’s holiday schedule. Babs also explained that New Orleans has a rich history of classical music and pointed out how in the early days of the city, the Mississippi River played a big role in attracting musicians to New Orleans.
