Pat Ricci is the director of the Civil War Museum at Confederate Memorial Hall. The museum opened in 1891. It is the oldest museum in Louisiana and houses one of the largest collections of Confederate memorabilia in the United States. Pat gives us a brief tour of the museum and points out some of her favorite items. One thing I personally found interesting was how many items had been made in New Orleans. If you are interested in New Orleans history, you will enjoy this unique museum. You might even learn how LSU got its nickname, the Fighting Tigers! Listen now.
