Andrée Bauer is one of the owners of Russell’s Cleaning Services. This family-owned business has been cleaning fabrics in New Orleans since 1930. Many people in the Mid-City area had given up hope of ever seeing their favorite cleaners reopen after Hurricane Katrina. But almost five years later, Russell’s did reopen in Mid-City –– and in the exact same location.
