Paul Soniat is Director of the New Orleans Botanical Garden at City Park. Paul updates us on the garden’s plantings since Hurricane Katrina. He reports that, after much hard work by garden staff and volunteers to replace damaged plants and install new ones, the Botanical Garden is "filled up." Paul also describes two new garden areas–a shade garden and a native plant garden. He tells us that City Park has plans to expand the garden north sometime in the distant future. The Botanical Garden hosts weekly concerts that feature all types of music; visitors are welcome to walk the grounds before and after the concerts. Paul is quite an accomplished musician himself, and he describes his latest works. LISTEN HERE!
