Reggie Davis is founder and chef of Liberty’s Kitchen. The native New Orleanian, along with a group of like-minded caring people, created the nonprofit business to help New Orleans’ youth. Liberty’s Kitchen is much more than a restaurant: It offers a 12-week program that provides young people with the skills necessary to overcome the barriers to employment. "A lot of love goes into this," Reggie says. He tells us the restaurant has major funding from the Kellogg Foundation and other donors to support its vital mission. LISTEN NOW.
