The Most Rev. Gregory M. Aymond was appointed archbishop of the Archdiocese of New Orleans in August 2009. Four years earlier, the archbishop was serving in Austin, Texas. He recalls how he felt as he watched Hurricane Katrina devastate his hometown of New Orleans.
