Victor Moran is co-owner of Nonna Mia, the newest restaurant on Esplanade Avenue in the Faubourg St. John neighborhood. Victor is following in his family's footsteps; the Moran family has played a major role in the New Orleans dining scene for many years. Victor tells us, he considered not coming back after Hurricane Katrina. But like so many other native New Orleanians who debated returning, for Victor, the prospect of living in a city without New Orleans' soul was not an option.
