When asked what inspired him to create Atlas Psychiatry, Dr. Pejic will tell you about his own father, a prominent surgeon who survived a traumatic childhood during World War II — and his lifelong reluctance to seek mental health treatment. “I wanted to create a center where people from all walks of life would feel comfortable seeking help and could receive the most advanced and comprehensive treatment possible,” Dr. Pejic said.
